What is a favicon?

A favicon (short for "favorite icon") is a small square image associated with a website or web page. Browsers display it alongside your site name in tabs, bookmarks, and the address bar. Common favicon sizes include 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, and 128x128 pixels.

Choose the image file from your computer and click "Upload image" to let Genfavicon generate the required favicon formats for your site.

After exporting the favicon, upload the favicon.ico file to your site root and add this snippet to the <head> of your HTML:
